Interstate Plastics Oversees Organizational Restructure

Interstate Plastics President Mark Courtright announced the Company will create a Director of Business Operations position, which will be occupied by current National Sales Manager, John Schwenck.

The position will focus on improving internal processes, increased training, and insure excellence in the customer service experience across all operations. In addition, Schwenck will focus on creating a strategic purchasing program that will assist the branches in sourcing products more efficiently.

Current Birmingham Branch Manager Brett Olson will transition to National Sales Manager, starting with focus on the Company’s Eastern locations (Birmingham, Austin and Des Moines), while Schwenck will focus on the Western branches until the transition is complete.

Todd Brownfield has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of the Birmingham location and will assist Olson in the transition.

Today’s announcement begins a process that will be completed early in the 4th Quarter.
